Launched in early 2015, Malaysia's only gold museum can be found right in the heart of Georgetown, Penang. Located on Bishop Street, it is still the first gold museum found in Southeast Asia. Public Gold now has a stake at PG Gold Museum and was established in 2008 offering a range of gold trading activities to the general public.

Its demos and guided tour take you on a journey towards discovering from how gold is mined, extracted, smelted to how it is traded on the international market. Its existence has also served as an educational centre for the young and old providing an opportunity to know more about gold, its processes in turning raw material to one of the most valuable commodities in the world.

PG Gold Museum is just minutes walk from Little India where spices can be purchased at fraction of the price. This area also has some of the best Indian restaurants and cafes around town.
